Examples of Medicaid obstetrical day in a sentence
In addition to rates paid for inpatient hospital services, the Department shall pay $1,350 for each Medicaid obstetrical day of care provided in State fiscal year 2005 by each Illinois general acute care hospital that was designated a level III perinatal center as of December 31, 2006, and that had a case mix index equal to or greater than the 45th percentile of the case mix indices for all level III perinatal centers.
