Limited public motor vehicle definition

Limited public motor vehicle means and includes every motor vehicle for hire, other than a jitney as defined in R.I. Gen. Laws § 39-13-1 or a taxicab as defined in R.I. Gen. Laws § 39-14-1, equipped with a taximeter used for transporting members of the general public for compensation only from a designated location on private property to such points as may be directed by the passenger.

  • Uniform Commercial Code or “UCC” means the Uniform Commercial Code as the same may from time to time be in effect in the State of New York or the Uniform Commercial Code (or similar code or statute) of another jurisdiction, to the extent it may be required to apply to any item or items of Collateral.

  • Motor vehicle record or "MVR" means a driving record under Subsection 53-3-109(6)(a).

  • Motorboat means the same as that term is defined in Section 73-18-2.
