Licence Server definition

Licence Server is the dedicated host (physical hardware or virtual machine) which controls the Licence and whose function is necessary to administrate the proper use of the Software in a Server Cluster, e.g. rebooting, installing updates and upgrades, etc. The License Server will only be of relevance, if the transfer of such was agreed between the Parties as there are also other options of the transfer / delivery of the Software (cf. Annex 1 (General Terms and Conditions), Section 2.2);
Licence Server means a software program provided by the Licensor that is managing the distribution of the Licence Key by the Licensor to Authorised Users within the Licensee in order to control which Authorised Users are authorised to use the Software at the relevant moment.

Examples of Licence Server in a sentence

  • If Licensee’s Total Licence Server Count exceeds the Licensed Quantity in respect of server licences, Licensee must purchase Additional Licences and Support and Maintenance in respect of such server licences and Cloudhouse shall be entitled to charge Licensee for such Additional Licences and Support and Maintenance.

  • Licensee is not permitted to exceed the Total Licence Server Count in respect of server licences comprising the Licensed Quantity.

Related to Licence Server

  • Software Product means any COTS which you propose to provide pursuant to the contract.

  • Online Services means Microsoft-hosted services to which Customer subscribes under this Agreement. It does not include software and services provided under separate license terms.

  • Commercial Software means Software developed or regularly used that: (i) has been sold, leased, or licensed to the general public; (ii) has been offered for sale, lease, or license to the general public; (iii) has not been offered, sold, leased, or licensed to the public but will be available for commercial sale, lease, or license in time to satisfy the delivery requirements of this Contract; or (iv) satisfies a criterion expressed in (i), (ii), or (iii) above and would require only minor modifications to meet the requirements of this Contract.

  • Software License means a license for the Software granted under this ▇▇▇▇ to the Licensee;

  • Maintenance Services means SAP’s then-current maintenance and/or support services offered under and described in detail in the applicable SAP PartnerEdge Model.
