Layoff Procedure. 2117.45, “Promotions;” 2117.46, “Transfers;” and 2117.47, “Voluntary Demotions;” herein does not work, even though compensated, for more than twenty four
Layoff Procedure means the process through which a layoff group, is selected, notified, and the conditions for which the layoff will occur.
Layoff Procedure. The layoff determination will be based upon the most recently hired employee in the affected class who, e, has the least seniority in or above the class and will be the first to be laid off. The employee in the affected class with the least seniority within that class will be laid off, subject to bumping and re-employment rights, as applicable. Prior to the establishment of the seniority list for the affected class, the City Manager or his/her designee shall provide affected employees with a copy. If the employee disagrees with the effective date used on the seniority list, he/she may provide any supporting documentation to the City Manager, or his/her designee, within five (5) calendar days after the list is published for consideration. The seniority list will then be established for the affected class for determination of layoff. The decision of the City Manager, or his/her designee, shall be final and not subject to appeal including the grievance process.

Related to Layoff Procedure

  • Call Off Procedure means the process for awarding a Call Off Agreement pursuant to Clause 4 (Call Off Procedure) and Framework Schedule 5 (Call Off Procedure);

  • AML/KYC Procedures means the customer due diligence procedures of a Reporting Finnish Financial Institution pursuant to the anti-money laundering or similar requirements of Finland to which such Reporting Finnish Financial Institution is subject.

  • Procedure means one or more surgical procedures or medical therapy performed in a Center of Excellence.

  • Dispute Resolution Procedures means the procedures outlined in Annexure A of the MSA Determination.

  • Staff Vetting Procedure means the Authority’s procedures for the vetting of personnel and as advised to the Contractor by the Authority.

  • Dispute Resolution Scheme means the Electricity and Gas Complaints Commission or such other dispute resolution scheme approved or provided for in accordance with section 95 of the Act;

  • Shelf Procedures means the rules and procedures established pursuant to NI 44-102;

  • MERS Procedure Manual The MERS Procedures Manual, as it may be amended, supplemented or otherwise modified from time to time.

  • JAMS Rules has the meaning assigned thereto in Section 13 hereof.

  • Dispute Resolution Process means the process described in clause 9

  • Day Case Procedure means a Medically Necessary surgical procedure for investigation or treatment to the Insured Person performed in a medical clinic, or day case procedure centre or Hospital with facilities for recovery as a Day Patient.

  • Bid Submission Requirement means a task a Prospective Contractor must complete when submitting a bid response. These requirements will be distinguished by using the term “shall” or “must” in the requirement.

  • Direct Ordering Procedure means the ordering procedure set out in paragraph 2 of Schedule 5 (Ordering Procedure) of this Framework Agreement;

  • MERS Procedures Manual The MERS Procedures Manual, as it may be amended, supplemented or otherwise modified from time to time.

  • Surgical procedure means a procedure that is performed

  • Internal Procedures means in respect of the making of any one or more entries to, changes in or deletions of any one or more entries in the register at any time (including without limitation, original issuance or registration of transfer of ownership) the minimum number of the Warrant Agent’s internal procedures customary at such time for the entry, change or deletion made to be complete under the operating procedures followed at the time by the Warrant Agent, it being understood that neither preparation and issuance shall constitute part of such procedures for any purpose of this definition;

  • Change Control Procedure has the meaning set out at Clause 28.1;

  • Dissent Procedures has the meaning set out in Section 3.1;

  • Associated Procedures means those procedures and/or statements that have been adopted by the Underwriter, the Adviser, a Fund or the Compliance Department, and which are designed to supplement this Code and its provisions.

  • M&A Rules means the Provisions on Merging and Acquiring Domestic Enterprises by Foreign Investors, which was promulgated by six Governmental Agencies, namely, the Ministry of Commerce, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, the State Administration for Taxation, the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, the China Securities Regulatory Commission (the “CSRC”), and the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, on August 8, 2006 and became effective on September 8, 2006, as amended by the Ministry of Commerce on June 22, 2009.

  • railway operational procedures means procedures specified under any access agreement (as defined in the Railways Act 1993) or station lease;

  • ICC Rules means the Rules of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce in effect on the date the applicable arbitration proceeding begins.
