Laundrette definition

Laundrette means a building used for the purpose of washing and drying domestic laundry, and where the machines used are electrically operated and quiet, and of the type which process each customer’s articles individually, and which may be operated by the customer. The washing media used shall be of a type that shall not cause harmful effluent to be discharged into the sewerage system.
Laundrette means an establishment with automatic washing machines, dryers, or dry cleaning machines available for public use for a fee.
