Interface Problem definition

Interface Problem has the meaning set forth in Section 1 of Part 5 of the Product Assurance Document.
Interface Problem has the meaning given to it in Clause 3.1 of Appendix E (Warranties).
Interface Problem means a technical problem in the operation of the Aircraft or its systems experienced by Customer, the cause of which is not readily identified by Customer but which Customer reasonably believes to be attributable to either the design characteristics or the systems of the Aircraft or the workmanship used in the installation of Supplier Parts.

Examples of Interface Problem in a sentence

  • Such corrective action, unless reasonably rejected by the Buyer, will constitute full satisfaction of any claim the Buyer may have against either the Seller or any such Supplier with respect to such Interface Problem.

  • If the Seller determines that the Interface Problem is primarily attributable to the design of any Supplier Part, the Seller shall, if so requested by the Buyer, reasonably assist the Buyer in processing any warranty claim the Buyer may have against the Supplier.

  • If the Seller determines that the Interface Problem is primarily attributable to the design of a Warranted Part, the Seller shall, if so requested by the Buyer and pursuant to the terms and conditions of Clause 12.1, correct the design of such Warranted Part to the extent of the Seller’s obligation as defined in Clause 12.1.

  • At the conclusion of such investigation the Seller shall promptly advise the Buyer in writing of the Seller’s opinion as to the cause or causes of the Interface Problem and the Seller’s recommendations as to corrective action.

Related to Interface Problem

  • Problem means an unknown underlying cause of one or more Incidents. It becomes a Known Error when the root cause is known and a temporary workaround or permanent alternative has been identified.

  • Critical infrastructure means a communication infrastructure system, cybersecurity system, electric grid, hazardous waste treatment system, or water treatment facility.
