Institutional health service definition

Institutional health service means any health service furnished in or through institutional health facilities or health maintenance organizations, including mobile health services.
Institutional health service means a health service which is pro- vided by or through a health care facility and which entails an annual operating cost of $500,000 or more. The agency shall, by rule, adjust the annual operating cost threshold annually using an appropriate inflation index.

  • Health Service means a Local Health District constituted under section 8 of the Health Services Act 1997, a Statutory Health Corporation constituted under section 11 of that Act, and an Affiliated Health Organisation constituted under section 13 of that Act.
