Hinge width definition

Hinge width means the distance between the convex apex of the right shell and the convex apex of the left shell.

  • Width means, in relation to a lot,

  • Lot width means the shorter of the following two linear measurements:

  • Diameter means the diameter of the stem of a tree measured outside the bark at a specified point of measurement.

  • Altitude means the vertical distance of a level, a point or an object considered as a point, measured from mean sea level (MSL);

  • Diameter at Breast Height (DBH) means the diameter of the trunk of a mature tree generally measured at a point four and a half feet above ground level from the uphill side of the tree. For species of trees where the main trunk divides below the 4 ½ foot height, the DBH shall be measured at the highest point before any division.
