Governmental Programs definition

Governmental Programs means (i) the Medicare and Medicaid Programs, (ii) the United States Department of Defense Civilian Health Program for Uniformed Services and (iii) other similar Federal, state or local governmental health care programs.
Governmental Programs shall have the meaning set forth in Section 3.26(a).
Governmental Programs mean the Medicare and Medicaid programs under Titles XVIII and XIX of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1395 et seq., and 42 U.S.C. 1396 et. seq.), CHAMPUS/TRICARE, and other similar federal, state and local programs for which the federal government pays the Seller, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, for the provision of services or goods to beneficiaries of the applicable program.

Examples of Governmental Programs in a sentence

  • The Company, the Stockholders, and each Physician Employee has a current provider number for such Governmental Programs and with such private non-governmental programs (including without limitation any private insurance program) under which the Company is presently receiving payments directly or indirectly from any Payor for patient care provided by such Physician Employee, licensed employee or independent contractor (such non-governmental programs herein referred to as "Private Programs").

More Definitions of Governmental Programs

Governmental Programs means any health benefit programs that are sponsored by a Governmental Entity in which a Pharmacy participates, whether pursuant to one or more contracts with the applicable Governmental Entity or otherwise, including, but not limited to, the Medicare prescription drug program and the Medicare Advantage program (Title XVIII of the Social Security Act); the Medicaid Program (Title XIX of the Social Security Act), and the TRICARE Program (10 U.S.C. § 1071 et seq.).
Governmental Programs means Medicare or Medicaid.

Governmental Programs means all state and federal health care benefit programs (as defined by 42 U.S.C. §1320a-7b(f)), inclusive of any Government Contracts.
