Flow Duration Curve definition

Flow Duration Curve means a statistical representation of flows, actual or synthetic, and their recurrence probabilities over a determined period of record.

  • Should flow conditions fall outside the 10% and 90% points on the Flow Duration Curve but be between the 5% and 95% points on the Flow Duration Curve, then the Coordinating Committee, following unanimous approval, may utilize this information in the calculation of the three-year average.
