Family Finding Efforts definition

Family Finding Efforts means a variety of approaches and methods Contractors and the Agency use to help Children in Foster Care find and connect with biological or chosen Family members. Strained Family relationships can be strengthened or reconnected through these efforts and discoveries can be made to connect lost relationships or build entirely new ones for and with the Child or Youth. Internet-based search tools may be used to locate Family members unknown to the Child Welfare system. Connections can be made regardless of geography, initial level of commitment from the Family member, or blood relation to the Child. The input of the Child and close Family members is a critical piece of this method.

  • Directed Selling Efforts means directed selling efforts as that term is defined in Regulation S. Without limiting the foregoing, but for greater clarity in this Schedule, it means, subject to the exclusions from the definition of directed selling efforts contained in Regulation S, any activity undertaken for the purpose of, or that could reasonably be expected to have the effect of, conditioning the market in the United States for any of the Offered Securities and includes the placement of any advertisement in a publication with a general circulation in the United States that refers to the offering of the Offered Securities;

  • Active efforts means affirmative, active, thorough, and timely efforts intended primarily to maintain or reunite an Indian child with the Indian child's family. If an agency is involved in the child custody proceeding, active efforts must involve assisting the parent or a parent or Indian custodian with the steps of a case plan and including accessing or developing the resources necessary to satisfy the case plan. To the maximum extent possible, active efforts should be provided in a manner consistent with the prevailing social and cultural conditions and way of life of the Indian child's tribe and should be conducted in partnership with the Indian child and the Indian child's parents, extended family members, Indian custodians, and tribe. Active efforts are to be tailored to the facts and circumstances of the case. The term includes:

  • Qualified patient means a “qualified patient” as defined in Health and Safety Code Section 11362.7(f).

  • Automatic Route Selection or “ARS” means a service feature associated with a specific grouping of lines that provides for automatic selection of the least expensive or most appropriate transmission facility for each call based on criteria programmed into the system.

  • Commercially Reasonable Efforts means efforts which are designed to enable a Party, directly or indirectly, to satisfy a condition to, or otherwise assist in the consummation of, the transactions contemplated by this Agreement and which do not require the performing Party to expend any funds or assume liabilities, other than expenditures and liabilities which are reasonable in nature and amount in the context of the transactions contemplated by this Agreement.

  • Reasonable Commercial Efforts means, with respect to the applicable obligation of the Company, reasonable commercial efforts for similarly situated, publicly-traded companies.

  • Automatic Location Identification Gateway or "ALI Gateway" is a computer facility into which CLEC delivers Automatic Location Identification (ALI) data for CLEC Customers.   • Necessary Personal Effects means items such as clothing and toiletry items, which are included in the Insured’s Baggage and are required for the Insured’s Trip.

  • Small emissions unit means an emissions unit that emits or has the potential to emit the PAL pollutant in an amount less than the significant level for that PAL pollutant, as defined in section 140 or in the Act, whichever is lower.

  • Good Faith Efforts means actions undertaken by a bidder or contractor to achieve a Contract Specific Goal that the CPO or his or her designee has determined, by their scope, intensity, and appropriateness to the objective, can reasonably be expected to fulfill the program’s requirements.

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN means a Practical Nurse who has completed a certificate program and passed the practical nurse licensure exam as required by the WY State Board of Nursing.

  • Investment Strategy is the processes and policies implemented by the Investment Manager for pursuing a particular investment objective managed by an Investment Team.

  • Clinical nurse specialist means a registered nurse with relevant post-basic qualifications and 12 months’ experience working in the clinical area of his/her specified post-basic qualification, or a minimum of four years’ post-basic registration experience, including three years’ experience in the relevant specialist field and who satisfies the local criteria.
