Existing Reinsurers definition

Existing Reinsurers means the insurance companies to which the Ceding Company has ceded or retroceded any Liabilities under Covered Insurance Policies pursuant to any Existing Reinsurance Agreement.
Existing Reinsurers means any reinsurer under an Existing Reinsurance Agreement.

  • Reinsurers shall be understood to mean “Reinsurers”, “Underwriters” or whatever other term is used in the attached reinsurance document to designate the reinsurer or reinsurers.

  • Reinsurer has the meaning set forth in the preamble.

  • Reinsurance means the activity consisting in accepting risks ceded by an insurance undertaking or by another reinsurance undertaking or, in the case of the association of underwriters known as Lloyd's, the activity consisting in accepting risks, ceded by any member of Lloyd's, by an insurance or reinsurance undertaking other than the association of underwriters known as Lloyd's;

  • The Subscribing Reinsurer s share in the attached Contract shall be separate and apart from the shares of the other reinsurers, and shall not be joint with the shares of the other reinsurers, it being understood that the Subscribing Reinsurer shall in no event participate in the interests and liabilities of the other reinsurers.

  • Reinsured Policies has the meaning assigned to it in the Reinsurance Agreement.

  • Ceding Company has the meaning set forth in the preamble.

  • Reinsurance Agreements means any agreement, contract, treaty, certificate or other arrangement by which any Insurance Subsidiary agrees to transfer or cede to another insurer all or part of the liability assumed or assets held by it under one or more insurance, annuity, reinsurance or retrocession policies, agreements, contracts, treaties, certificates or similar arrangements. Reinsurance Agreements shall include, but not be limited to, any agreement, contract, treaty, certificate or other arrangement that is treated as such by the applicable Department.

  • Reinsurance Agreement means any agreement, contract, treaty or other arrangement whereby one or more insurers, as reinsurers, assume liabilities under insurance policies or agreements issued by another insurance or reinsurance company or companies.

  • Reinsured Liabilities means the General Account Liabilities and the Separate Account Liabilities.

  • Insurance Contracts means the insurance or annuity policies and contracts, together with all binders, slips, certificates, endorsements and riders thereto, issued or entered into by any Insurance Company prior to the Closing.

  • Ceding Commission shall have the meaning specified in Section 5.2.

  • variable insurance contract means a contract of life insurance under which the interest of the purchaser is valued for purposes of conversion or surrender by reference to the value of a proportionate interest in a specified portfolio of assets.

  • Insurers means the underwriters or insurance companies with whom any Obligatory Insurances are effected and the managers of any protection and indemnity or war risks association in which any or the Collateral Vessels may at any time be entered.

  • The Insured means the person specified as such in the Schedule.

  • Reassured shall be understood to mean “Company”, “Reinsured”, “Reassured” or whatever other term is used in the attached reinsurance document to designate the reinsured company or companies.

  • Shared Policies means all Policies, current or past, which are owned or maintained by or on behalf of D&B or any of its Subsidiaries which relate to one or more of the D&B Business, the Cognizant Business or the ACNielsen Business.

  • Cash Value Insurance Contract means an Insurance Contract (other than an indemnity reinsurance contract between two insurance companies) that has a Cash Value greater than $50,000.

  • Reinsurance intermediary means a reinsurance intermediary-broker or a reinsurance intermediary-manager.

  • Insurance Contract means a contract (other than an Annuity Contract) under which the issuer agrees to pay an amount upon the occurrence of a specified contingency involving mortality, morbidity, accident, liability, or property risk.

  • Insureds Premises Not An "Insured Location" "Bodily injury" or "property damage" arising out of a premises:

  • Insurance Provider s Tender” means the completed Tendering Document submitted by the Insurance Provider to the Procuring Entity

  • Retrocession Agreement means any agreement, contract, treaty or other arrangement whereby one or more insurers or reinsurers, as retrocessionaires, assume liabilities of reinsurers under a Reinsurance Agreement or other retrocessionaires under another Retrocession Agreement.

  • Insurance Companies means the companies with whom the Insurance Policies are held.

  • D&O Policies has the meaning set forth in Section 8.01(e).

  • Insurance carrier means every insurance carrier duly

  • Insurance Subsidiaries means, collectively, MGMM Insurance Company, a Nevada corporation and any Subsidiaries formed for the purpose of facilitating and providing insurance coverage and claims services for the Company and its Subsidiaries.
