Energy Generation definition

Energy Generation. (General) shall mean all Energy Generation that is not Energy Generation (Limited) as defined above.
Energy Generation means any facility, whether privately or publically owned, that produces energy from (i) renewable natural resources such as sunlight, wind, water, or geo-thermal heat, and/or (ii) the burning of non-toxic materials and/or biomass such as solid waste, trash, or plant materials, or (iii) the burning of natural gas or other clean burning fuels. This term shall not include gas or oil processing or manufacturing facilities.
Energy Generation or “Power Generation” means the production of electric power using fuel oil and its derivatives, natural gas, renewable energy sources, or any other method.

  • The Scheduled Energized Date shall be the date that is twelve (12) months from the Trade Date of such Product Order if the Designated System is a Distributed Renewable Energy Generation Device, or eighteen (18) months from the Trade Date of such Product Order if the Designated System is a Community Renewable Energy Generation Project.

  • Unless extended pursuant to Section 2.4(b), the Scheduled Energized Date shall be the date that is twelve (12) months from the Trade Date of such Product Order if the Designated System is a Distributed Renewable Energy Generation Device, or eighteen (18) months from the Trade Date of such Product Order if the Designated System is a Community Renewable Energy Generation Project.

  • For avoidance of doubt, with respect to a Designated System that is a Community Renewable Energy Generation Project, the Designated System Contract Maximum REC Quantity and the Delivery Year Expected REC Quantities shall be adjusted pursuant to Section 2.6(b) and Section 2.6(c) and the updated Schedule B and REC Delivery schedule will be issued by the IPA to Buyer and Seller pursuant to Section 2.6(g).

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, if there is an increase in the Collateral Requirement for a Community Renewable Energy Generation Project in the quarterly payment adjustments pursuant to Sections 2.6(a)-(b), Seller shall not be required to post additional Performance Assurance Amount at the time of such payment adjustment(s).

  • Unless extended pursuant to Section 2.4(b), the Scheduled Energized Date shall be the date that is eighteen (18) months from the Trade Date of such Product Order if the Designated System is a Distributed Renewable Energy Generation Device, or twenty-four (24) months from the Trade Date of such Product Order if the Designated System is a Community Renewable Energy Generation Project.

  • Seller warrants that all necessary steps to allow the Renewable Energy Credits transferred to Buyer to be tracked in the Western Renewable Energy Generation Information System will be taken prior to the first delivery under the contract.
