Emera LP means ENL Island Link Incorporated, a corporation incorporated pursuant to the laws of the Province of NL, and includes its successors;
MERC means the Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission.
Constellation has the meaning assigned to that term in the Recitals.
Atlas means Automated Transportation Logistics Activity System. ATLAS is a computerized information system to which all Shippers have access upon request. ATLAS enables Shippers to nominate and release product and to monitor and coordinate the movement of Petroleum Products while on Carrier's system.
BHP means BHP Minerals Pty. Ltd. and its successors and assigns who are parties with the State to the Processing Agreement;
Operating Company has the meaning set forth in the preamble.
GVWR means gross vehicle weight rating.
Operating Companies means, collectively, the Creekside Operating Company, the Mentone Operating Company and the Yucaipa Operating Company. “Operating Company” means any of the Operating Companies.
CMBI means Chase Manhattan Bank International, an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Bank, located in Moscow, Russia, and any nominee companies appointed by it.
Horizon means a layer of soil, approximately parallel to the surface, that has distinct characteristics produced by soil forming processes.
SBS means the New York City Department of Small Business Services.
SLDC means the State Load Dispatch Center as notified by the State Government.
ESMP means an environmental and social management plan (including any pest management plan), acceptable to the Association and consistent with the ESMF, adopted for the purposes of a Micro-project, and giving details of the magnitude of the environmental impacts, as well as the specific actions, measures and policies designed to facilitate the achievement of the objective of the ESMF under the Micro-project, including the budget and cost estimates, and sources of funding, along with the institutional and procedural measures needed to implement such actions, measures and policies, as such ESMP may be amended form time to time with the prior written agreement of the Association.
AMC means Annual Maintenance Contract
CSA means Canadian Standards Association;
PDC or “Process Data Collection” means technology that allows process data to be entered into a format that can be viewed, manipulated and retrieved in the form of customized reports.
Crown means the government of the United Kingdom (including the Northern Ireland Assembly and Executive Committee, the Scottish Executive and the National Assembly for Wales), including, but not limited to, government ministers and government departments and particular bodies, persons, commissions or agencies from time to time carrying out functions on its behalf;
ERC means emission reductions that have been authorized by a local air pollution control district pursuant to California Division 26 Air Resources; Health and Safety Code Sections 40709 and 40709.5, by which all reductions in the emission of air contaminants that are to be used to offset certain future increases in the emission of air contaminants shall be banked prior to use to offset future increases in emissions.
ITC (this Section2 of the RFP) means the Instructions to Consultants that provides the Consultants with all information needed to prepare their Proposals.
ESMF means the Recipient’s framework, setting out the rules, guidelines and procedures to assess environmental and social impacts of the Project’s activities, and measures to reduce, mitigate or offset adverse social and environmental impacts and enhance positive impacts of said activities including public consultation, institutional arrangements for the implementation, monitoring and supervision of said measures, as the ESMF may be amended from time to time with the prior written approval of the Association.
Newco has the meaning set forth in the first paragraph of this Agreement.
Solar energy means the sun used as the sole source of energy for producing electricity.
Generating Company means any company or body corporate or association or body of individuals, whether incorporated or not, or artificial juridical person, which owns or operates or maintains a generating station;
Production company means a person or entity engaged in the business of making motion picture, television, or radio images for theatrical, commercial, advertising, or education purposes; Reserved
CCC means Customer Care Centre
SCC means the Special Conditions of Contract.
HCP means a Habitat Conservation Plan prepared pursuant to § 10(a)(2)(A) of the ESA (16 U.S.C. § 1539(a)(2)(A)).
