Non-local supplier’ means a supplier or service provider, whose goods, services or works offered for procurement, has local content less than or equal to 20%, as defined under the Order No. P-45021/2/2017-PP(BE-II) dated 04.06.2020 issued by DPIIT.
For this procurement, the local content to categorize a supplier as a Class I local supplier/ Class Il local Supplier/ Non Local supplier and purchase preference to Class I local supplier, is as defined in Public Procurement (Preference to Make in India), Order 2017 dated 04.06.2020 issued by DPIIT.
All Bidders except Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) as defined in MSE Procurement Policy issued by Department of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) or Department or Startups as recognized by Department for Promotion of Industrial and Internal Trade (DPIIT) on submission of a valid registration certificate as per the Government of India rules are required to pay the cost of Tender Document as mentioned in Section-III, Clause 8 of Data Sheet through RTGS.
