Dispatch Employee definition

Dispatch Employee means a person, who is not a sworn law enforcement officer, whose principal or primary job responsibility is to perform or engage in the performance of dispatch functions. This definition includes both supervisory and non-supervisory employees engaged in the performance of dispatch functions. As used in this definition, “dispatch functions” means the receipt of 9-1-1 calls and dispatching public safety response services, as appropriate, by the direct dispatch method, relay method, or transfer method.
Dispatch Employee has the meaning set forth in Section 5.08.

  • The Dispatch Employee to be responsible for the remaining ten (10%) percent.

  • The Company shall post notices in all Flight Dispatch Centres when a permanent Dispatch Employee assignment becomes vacant or when the Company establishes additional permanent Dispatch Employee assignments.

  • The Company shall not, because the Dispatch Employee did not have sufficient wages payable to him on the designated payroll, carry forward and deduct from any subsequent wages the dues not deducted in an earlier month.

  • In the event that a Dispatch Employee is required by the Company to acquire a second language, the Company will assist such Dispatch Employee by providing language training at Company expense and on Company time.

Related to Dispatch Employee

  • Service employee, means any person engaged in the performance of this contract other than any person employed in a bona fide executive, administrative, or professional capacity, as these terms are defined in Part 541 of Title 29, Code of Federal Regulations, as revised. It includes all such persons regardless of any contractual relationship that may be alleged to exist between a Contractor or subcontractor and such persons.

  • U.S. Employee means a person who is an employee of the Company (or of any Subsidiary) for purposes of section 422 of the Code.

  • Business Employee means any employee who is employed by Seller, the Company or any of their respective Affiliates (regardless of whether such employee is inactive due to illness, disability, workers’ compensation or other approved leaves of absence) whose services are primarily related to the Business.

  • Active Employee means a contributing member of the TRS who is employed by a public school and is not entitled to coverage under a plan provided under Insurance Code Chapter 1551 (Texas Em- ployees Group Benefits Act) or 1601 (State University Employees Uniform Insurance Benefits Act).

  • SpinCo Employee has the meaning set forth in the Employee Matters Agreement.
