  • The City shall afford all employees covered by this agreement with the protection of the Uniform Peace Officer's Disciplinary Act (50 ILCS 725/1 through 725/7) now and as amended in the future.

  • No questioning of the employee shall be conducted that is not consistent with the "Fireman's Disciplinary Act." A refusal to submit to such testing may subject the employee to discipline, up to and including discharge.

  • Unless a formal interrogation has been conducted pursuant to the Firemen’s Disciplinary Act, prior to discharging a non-probationary employee, the Fire Chief or his designee will offer to meet with the employee, describe the reason or reasons why dismissal is being contemplated, and afford the employee an opportunity to state his/her side before a final decision is made.

  • Section 5 The Employer shall adhere to the Uniform Peace Officers' Disciplinary Act, 50 ILCS 725/1 et seq.

Related to Disciplinary Act

  • Disciplinary Action means any action that can be taken on the completion of / during the investigation proceedings including but not limiting to a warning, imposition of fine, suspension from official duties or any such action as is deemed to be fit considering the gravity of the matter.
