Court of Central Jurisdiction definition

Court of Central Jurisdiction or “CCJ” means the Court of Central Jurisdiction of the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe Indians established by 5 MLBS § 1.

  • A Person who has received a Compliance Recommendation that recommends a license denial, suspension, or revocation may directly appeal to the Court of Central Jurisdiction.

  • If the Authority or subsequent review by Court of Central Jurisdiction finds in favor of the candidate or excluded Person, then his or her name shall be removed from the excluded list and his or her exclusion shall be terminated as of the date of the action by the Authority or the Court of Central Jurisdiction.

  • Courts means the Ontario Court and Quebec Court.

  • Competent Court of Law means any court or tribunal or any similar judicial or quasi- judicial body in India that has jurisdiction to adjudicate upon issues relating to this Agreement;

  • Applicable Jurisdiction means the jurisdiction or jurisdictions under which the Borrower is organized, domiciled or resident or from which any of its business activities are conducted or in which any of its properties are located and which has jurisdiction over the subject matter being addressed.

  • Pertinent Jurisdiction in relation to a company, means:

  • Non-Cooperative Jurisdiction means any foreign country that has been designated as noncooperative with international anti-money laundering principles or procedures by an intergovernmental group or organization, such as the Financial Task Force on Money Laundering, of which the U.S. is a member and with which designation the U.S. representative to the group or organization continues to concur;

  • Eligible Jurisdiction means Australia, Canada, Cayman Islands, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Sweden, Switzerland, The Netherlands, the United Kingdom and the United States.

  • Jurisdiction means a province or territory of Canada except when used in the term foreign jurisdiction;

  • Venue means the premises as delineated and shown edged red in Annex A.

  • District means the Montgomery County Municipal

  • Uniform Commercial Code jurisdiction means any jurisdiction that has adopted all or substantially all of Article 9 as contained in the 2000 Official Text of the Uniform Commercial Code, as recommended by the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws and the American Law Institute, together with any subsequent amendments or modifications to the Official Text.

  • Court of Chancery means the Court of Chancery of the State of Delaware.

  • Ontario Court means the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.

  • Chosen Courts has the meaning set forth in Section 9.10(b).

  • New York Courts shall have the meaning set forth in Section 9(d).

  • Commissioners Court means Travis County Commissioners Court.

  • State Court means a judicial body of a state that is vested by law with responsibility for adjudicating cases involving abuse, neglect, deprivation, delinquency, or status offenses of individuals who have not attained the age of eighteen (18).

  • Delaware Courts has the meaning set forth in Section 8.2.

  • District Court means the United States District Court for the District of Delaware.

  • sitting means, in relation to a House, a period during which that House is sitting continuously without adjournment, and includes any period during which the House is in committee;

  • Authority Having Jurisdiction means a federal, state, local, or other regional department, or an individual such as a fire marshal, building official, electrical inspector, utility provider or other individual having statutory authority.
