A written warning comes in the form of a written letter ensuring residents are aware of the Community Standard that has been violated.
Further, in order to maintain certification, Your Project must submit a recertification application no later than the third (3rd) anniversary or fifth (5th) anniversary of the date on which certification was last granted for the Project under the WELL Building Standard or WELL Community Standard, respectively.
If you are found in violation of a Community Standard, your responsibilities under this Contract will be clarified with you and you may be assigned sanctions based on the community standard process outlined in the Residence Community Living Handbook.
The full text of the WELL Building Standard or WELL Community Standard, including the Project Type Requirements for each Project Type under which Your Project may apply, is published and available for review online and upon request.
For all subsequent recertification cycles, the Project will be expected to comply with, and will be reviewed under, the version of the WELL Building Standard or WELL Community Standard (other than pilot versions thereof) that is in place twelve (12) months prior to the expiration of its then-current certification or, if You so choose, You may elect review of your Project under a more recent version of the WELL Building Standard or the WELL Community Standard.
Without regard to this Agreement, if Student is enrolled in a degree-granting program at Duke, Student is and remains subject to the behavioral requirements and process set forth in the Duke Community Standard and remains so during the Program (hereafter “Standard”).
For the Project’s first recertification cycle, You may elect to have the Project reviewed under either the version of WELL Building Standard or WELL Community Standard for which the Project achieved initial certification or any subsequently released version.
WELL Certification refers to GBCI’s determination that a project has satisfied the requirements set forth in the WELL Building Standard or WELL Community Standard, and has accumulated all preconditions and the minimum number of features required to achieve a particular level of WELL Certification (i.e., WELL Certified™ Core, WELL Certified™ Silver, WELL Certified™ Gold, or WELL Certified™ Platinum).
Further, for the avoidance of doubt, to the extent You are seeking certification under the WELL Building Standard for any building or buildings located within Your Project pursuing certification under the WELL Community Standard, that building or building is subject to WELL Building Standard certification and support Fees in addition to WELL Community Standard certification and support Fees applicable to Your Project pursuing certification under the WELL Community Standard.
Misleading or providing false identification to staff (as defined above) will also result in Residence Community Standard action.
