Carrier Liaison Committee definition

Carrier Liaison Committee or "CLC" is under the auspices of ATIS and is the executive oversight committee that provides direction as well as an appeals process to its subtending fora, the Network Interconnection Interoperability Forum (NIIF), the Ordering and Billing Forum (OBF), the Industry Numbering Committee (INC), and the Toll Fraud Prevention Committee (TFPC). On occasion, the CLC commissions ad hoc committees when issues do not have a logical home in one of the subtending forums.
