Buying Utility definition

Buying Utility or“Discom” Shall mean MSPDCL which has agreed to purchase the solar power from SPD.
Buying Utility means Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited that requires Solar power to fulfil its solar RPO under respective RPO regulations;
Buying Utility means Distribution companies and shall include wherever admissible the Distribution licensees or buying entity in any State or any bulk consumer who agreed to purchase the Solar Power from SECI and execute the Power Sale Agreement from time to time with SECI, and requires Solar Power to fulfil its other RPO under respective RPO regulations or to meet demand requirement;

  • Provided that the renewable purchase obligation of the Buying Utility shall be considered to be met by the Buying Utility only if there is no payment default for such energy procured by the Buying Utility and a certificate to such effect shall be provided by SECI to the Buying Utility.

  • The Buying Utility shall extend the State Government Guarantee, in a legally enforceable form, such that there is adequate security, both in terms of payment of energy charges and termination compensation if any [for the purpose of this clause, the Tri-Partite Agreement (TPA) signed between Reserve Bank of India, Central Government and State Government shall qualify as State Government Guarantee covering the security for payment of energy charges].

More Definitions of Buying Utility

Buying Utility means an End Procurer as defined in the Guidelines who has agreed to purchase the Solar Power from SECI and has signed/will sign the Power Sale Agreement with SECI. It is clarified that all obligations of SECI under this Agreement shall be deemed to be the obligations of Buying Entities with which SECI has signed/will sign Power Sale Agreement.
Buying Utility means the distribution companies or distribution licensees or buying entity in any State or any bulk consumer who has agreed to purchase the wind-solar hybrid power from SECI and has signed/will sign the Power Sale Agreement with SECI. . It is clarified that all obligations of SECI under this Agreement shall be deemed to be the obligations of Buying Entities with which SECI has signed/will sign Power Sale Agreement.
Buying Utility or “Discoms” Shall mean Distribution licensees of Rajasthan State on whose behalf RUVNL has agreed to purchase the wind-solar hybrid power to fulfil ‘wind’, ‘Others’ RPO and ‘Storage’ Purchase Obligations under the RPO regulations and/or to meet demand requirement;

Buying Utility or “Discoms” or Procurer Shall mean CESC Limited (CESC) which is a Distribution licensee in the State of West Bengal, who has agreed to purchase the wind-solar hybrid power from the HPD(s) and execute the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). CESC requires hybrid power to fulfil its Solar and other RPO under respective RPO regulations as well as to meet demand requirement;
Buying Utility means Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited or UPPCL;
Buying Utility means RUVNL on behalf of power distribution companies of Rajasthan Viz Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Xxxxx Limited, Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Xxxxx Limited and Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Xxxxx Limited and shall include wherever admissible the Distribution licensees or buying entity in any State or any bulk consumer who agreed to purchase the Solar Power from RUVNL and execute the Power Sale Agreement from time to time with RUVNL, and requires Solar Power to fulfil its solar RPO under respective RPO regulations or to meet demand requirement;
