Brazil CMA definition

Brazil CMA means the Contract Manufacturing Agreement dated as of July 26, 2011 by and between NCR Global Solutions Group, Ltd., an Irish limited company, and NCR Manaus, including the schedules thereto, as in effect on the Issue Date.

  • Brazil means the Federative Republic of Brazil.

  • Chile means the Republic of Chile.

  • Argentina means the Republic of Argentina.

  • Italy means the Italian Republic and includes any area beyond the territorial waters which is designated as an area within which Italy, in compliance with its legislation and in conformity with the International Law, exercises sovereign rights in respect of the exploration and exploitation of the natural resources of the seabed, the subsoil and the superjacent waters;

  • Mexico means the United Mexican States.

  • Brazilian GAAP means, collectively, the accounting principles prescribed by Brazilian Corporate Law, the rules and regulations issued by applicable regulators, including the CVM, as well as the technical releases issued by the Brazilian Institute of Accountants (Instituto Brasileiro de Contadores), in each case as in effect from time to time.

  • South Caucasus/Central and South Asian (SC/CASA) state means Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, or Uzbekistan.

  • India means the territory of India and includes the territorial sea and airspace above it, as well as any other maritime zone in which India has sovereign rights, other rights and jurisdiction, according to the Indian law and in accordance with international law, including the U.N. Convention on the Law of the Sea;

  • South Caucasus/Central and South Asian (SC/CASA) state means Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, or Uzbekistan.

  • LHSIA means the Local Health System Integration Act, 2006, and the regulations made under it, as it and they may be amended from time to time;

  • LDA means a geographic area within the PJM Region that has limited transmission capability to import capacity to satisfy such area’s reliability requirement, as determined by the Office of the Interconnection in connection with preparation of the Regional Transmission Expansion Plan, and as specified in Reliability Assurance Agreement, Schedule 10.1.

  • ICAO means the International Civil Aviation Organization;

  • Bangladesh Bank means the bank established under Article 3 of the Bangladesh Bank Order, 1972 (P.O. No. 127 of 1972) for the purpose of carrying on the business of the central banking and also includes its successors;

  • Spain means the Kingdom of Spain.

  • Tabarru’ means donation for the purpose of solidarity and cooperation among the Takaful Participants and to be used to help all Takaful Participants in times of misfortune. In the context of the Company, Tabarru’ will be allocated into the Participants’ Risk Fund.

  • France means the European and overseas departments of the French Republic including the territorial sea, and any area outside the territorial sea within which, in accordance with international law, the French Republic has sovereign rights for the purpose of exploring and exploiting the natural resources of the seabed and its subsoil and the superjacent waters;

  • Quadriplegia means total Paralysis of both upper and lower limbs. “Hemiplegia” means total Paralysis of the upper and lower limbs on one side of the body. “Uniplegia” means total Paralysis of one lower limb or one upper limb. “Paraplegia” means total Paralysis of both lower limbs or both upper limbs. “Paralysis” means total loss of use. A Doctor must determine the loss of use to be complete and not reversible at the time the claim is submitted.

  • CASA means the Civil Aviation Safety Authority.

  • Nodal Ministry means the Ministry or Department identified pursuant to this order in respect of a particular item of goods or services or works.

  • HKICL means Hong Kong Interbank Clearing Limited and its successors and assigns.

  • Portugal means the territory of the Portuguese Republic situated in the European Continent, the Archipelagoes of Azores and Madeira, the respective territorial sea and any other zone in which, according to Portuguese and International Law, the Portuguese Republic has:

  • RICA means the Regulation of Interception of Communications and Provision of Communication Related Information Act, 2002;

  • China means the People’s Republic of China, excluding, for purposes of this Agreement, Hong Kong, the Macau Special Administrative Region of the PRC and Taiwan.

  • CHDO means a Community Housing Development Organization, as defined in the 2013 HOME regulations at 24 CFR Part 92. CHDO “Owner”, “Developer”, and “Sponsor” are specifically defined therein.

  • hostel means a place of residence for the students of the University, or its colleges, institutions and study centers, established or recognized to be as such by the University;

  • ESMA means the European Securities and Markets Authority;
