Maltese Waters means Maltese Ports, Maltese Internal Waters and Maltese Territorial Waters. For the purpose of this Code the term Maltese waters shall mean Maltese Ports, Maltese Internal Waters and Maltese Territorial Waters;

Related to Maltese Waters

  • Navigable waters ’ means the waters of the United States, including the territorial sea;

  • Fresh water means water having a specific conductivity less than a solution containing six thousand (6,000) parts per million of sodium chloride.

  • Coastal waters means those waters of Long Island Sound and its harbors, embayments, tidal rivers, streams and creeks which contain a salinity concentration of at least five hundred parts per million under low flow conditions.

  • Houseboat means watercraft primarily used as habitation and not used primarily as a means of transportation.

  • Surface waters means water on the surface of the ground where water does not usually accumulate in ordinary watercourses, lakes, or ponds. This includes any waterborne objects.
