Acceptance Notification definition

Acceptance Notification means a notification issued by National Grid and served in accordance with Clause 7 and the Transfer and Trading Surrender Tender Rules by which National Grid accepts, whether in whole or in part, a Surrender Offer from the Surrender User and in which it specifies the Forward Capacity;

Examples of Acceptance Notification in a sentence

• Subject to Clauses 4.2, following the service of an Acceptance Notification by National Grid, an amount equal to the Forward Value shall be payable by National Grid to the Surrender User in accordance with Uniform Network Code, Transportation Principal Document, Section S by way of an Invoice Credit adjustment to an Invoice Document issued in the calendar month immediately following the calendar month in respect of which the Forward Capacity relates.

• For the avoidance of doubt, no such sum shall be payable if National Grid does not serve an Acceptance Notification.
