Common use of Your Accommodation Clause in Contracts

Your Accommodation. 1.1 The Offer of Accommodation sets out the type of room you have been offered. 1.2 You must check and complete your inventory and note any discrepancies, damage or missing items and submit this via the Accommodation Portal within 48 hours of arrival at your Accommodation. Failure to do so may result in you being charged for such damage or missing items at the end of your Occupancy Period if you are unable to prove that they were not caused by you or your visitors. 1.3 This University may relocate you to alternative accommodation in the circumstances described at clause 12 in which case the Licence Agreement will continue in relation to such alternative accommodation, although it is possible that the Licence Fee may increase or decrease as a result of such relocation (see clause 12 for more details).
