WORKWEEK AND BASIC WORKWEEK. A workweek is defined to consist of seven consecutive calendar days, and a basic workweek is defined to consist of five workdays of eight hours each. The days in the basic workweek shall be known as workdays and the other days in the workweek shall be known as non-workdays. Employees may be scheduled to work more or less than five days per week or for more or less than eight hours per day, but in any such event the basic workweek shall continue to be as herein defined.
