Common use of WorkSafeBC Clause in Contracts

WorkSafeBC. a. The Supplier will strictly comply with all rules and regulations under the Worker’s Compensation Act or any successor legislation and will provide a letter of good standing from WorkSafeBC prior to commencement of Work at the designated site(s). The Supplier agrees that it is the “Prime Supplier” for the purposes of the Worker’s Compensation Act and Regulations, unless otherwise advised and accepted in writing by an authorized officer, employee or agent of the City.
