Common use of Workplace Representatives Clause in Contracts

Workplace Representatives. 43.1 Where employees at the workplace have elected a workplace representative/s to represent the employee/s in employment related matters, Aurizon shall provide the representative/s reasonable time to discuss the relevant matter with the employee/s and management. Any employee representative will be allowed reasonable time to attend to any work related matter, where they have been so appointed. 43.2 Aurizon will allow employee representatives reasonable access to telephone, facsimile and photocopying facilities for the purpose of carrying out their role. The use of resources by an employee representative will be subject to the representative complying with the prevailing Aurizon policy provisions (which will not impose unreasonable restriction on the operation of this clause).
