Workplace Change a. The Plant Committee and relevant Area Committee shall be provided with the earliest practicable notification of any plan to significantly modify or change in any way machinery, equipment, controls, materials, software, work organization or any other work process that could directly or indirectly impact Employees (a Workplace Change). Such notification shall include:
Workplace Change. From time to time there will be changes to working procedures and practices within the Employer’s business to increase business efficiency. The parties agree to work together to introduce these changes and cooperate with the introduction of initiatives to develop a more productive workplace and make the Employer more competitive.
Workplace Change. 2.3.1 The parties recognise that the Corporation is influenced by various internal and external factors, including: (a) changes in the Local Government Act 1999 (as amended); (b) ongoing organisational structure and process review; (c) the Corporation’s financial position; (d) strategic direction of Council; (e) feasibility studies.
Workplace Change. Where any proposed changes to the environment, equipment, substances or work practices which may reasonably be expected to affect employee health and safety, Myer will, as appropriate, consult with: the employees concerned; the health and safety representatives of the employees concerned; and any health and safety committee established in the workplace, to identify and resolve potential health and safety problems. Change will not occur until identified risks are controlled.
Workplace Change. When a decision has been made to introduce major changes in program, service, organisation, structure or technology, which are likely to have significant effect on employees, Australian Red Cross will notify the employees affected by the proposed changes at the earliest possible convenience. Australian Red Cross (WA Division) will discuss with employees the likely effect of the changes and the measures to avoid or mitigate any possible adverse effects on the employees. Australian Red Cross (WA Division) will give prompt consideration to all matters raised by the employees. An employee may appoint another person to act on her/his behalf in any discussions relating to workplace change.
Workplace Change. 6.01 The Company and the Association will form a Workplace Change Committee consisting of two (2) employees chosen by the Association and two (2) representatives chosen by the Company. The purpose of the Committee is to demonstrate the commitment by the SEA and the Company to work together on the following: • Improving communication • Giving employees an opportunity to improve and broaden their operational, maintenance, relationship and administrative skills as supported by appropriate training. Examples of these activities might be machine lubrication, minor machine adjustments, warehouse cycle counting, instrument calibrations, etc. • The Committee will ensure meaningful and relevant input is provided during development, training and implementation of any changes as described above By working together in this enhanced fashion, the Company and the SEA believe we have the best chance to achieve operational excellence and create a sustainable workplace of which we will be proud. Nothing in this Article shall be construed as limiting the rights of the SEA or the employees under the provisions of this Collective Agreement.
Workplace Change. 30.1 The Company’s operating environment within the employment services industry is characterised by change and the Company and Employees acknowledge that:
Workplace Change. Both parties acknowledge the inevitability of changes to the methods by which the business is conducted and undertake to maintain the intent of this agreement - to develop and maintain a flexible, consultative and productive workplace. As noted, the employer undertakes to provide the employee with the relevant training to advance the employee’s skills and in adjusting to change[s] and the employee undertakes to remain flexible and accept such changes to the position and the methods of conducting the business as may be required in the best interests of the company.
Workplace Change. 25.1 Where MWHS proposes a change that may result in the termination of an employee's employment or any other significant effect on the employee, MWHS will notify the employee in writing regarding the proposed change and its possible effect on her/his employment.
