Working Conditions and Assignments. It is hereto understood by the parties that the assignments of duties to any immediate employee in his or her respective classification shall be vested with the Employer consistent with the provisions outlined in this Agreement. A. Employees may apply for specific job assignments or route assignments only when such assignments are determined by the Board to be vacant. If all requirements for the job are met, including seniority, the assignment will be made based on the seniority of the employee. The final decision on all job assignments rests with the Board. The Board reserves the right to make temporary changes in assignments, with no loss of pay to the employee, not to exceed 45 calendar days. B. Specific duties for all classifications within the scope of this Agreement shall be given to the employees and also posted at each work site by the third week of September each year.
