WORK COMPENSATION. 1. The compensation shall be determined based on the workload. There shall be the same compensation for the same work. WORK COMPENSATION. 17.1 The basic compensation for each employee shall be set forth in Schedule "A". There shall be no deviation from said hourly compensation rates during the life of this Agreement. 17.2 The following conditions shall apply to all overtime work. a. Time and one-half shall be paid for all hours worked over eight (8) hours in one day or forty (40) hours in one week and for all hours worked on Saturday, except for Special Schedule Employees and employees taking an unpaid day during the work week. b. Double time will be paid for all hours worked on Sunday and holidays. In the case of holidays, this will be in addition to holiday pay if the employee is entitled to holiday pay for that day. c. Paid leave shall count towards hours worked. d. Compensatory time off may be given instead of overtime pay if mutually agreeable to the employee and the Employer. Such compensatory time shall be at the time and one-half or double time rate, whichever is applicable. e. Shift premium rates will be paid for all hours worked on Saturday by second and third shift custodial personnel should the hours worked be after the completion of their normal work shift. 17.3 Any employee using his/her private vehicle to conduct school business will be reimbursed according to the current Board of Education policy, provided a school vehicle is not available.

WORK COMPENSATION. The School District agrees to pay the Construction Cost Estimator out of a “general pool” of shared funds up to a total aggregate amount not to exceed Dollars ($ )as compensation for the Services performed by the Construction Cost Estimator under this Contract during the Initial Term of this Contract. No funds have currently been authorized for an Additional Term of this Contract.
WORK COMPENSATION. Where a mutually agreed-upon compensation is used, as of 1 May 2013 this is NOK 652.80* a day. There will be no concerted effort by the Union to withhold volunteers. In conjunction with the Procedure outlined in Article should the necessary coverage not be provided by the above procedure, the Company reserves the right to select employees to provide the required coverage, subject to Grievance Procedure. The principle for selection will be on the basis of an having the least seniority, providing the can perform the work to be done. Set-up times will not be considered as overtime for the purpose of solicitation, if for a period of of an hour or less.

  • Overtime Compensation 1. Except as provided in this section, Grantee will be responsible for any obligations of premium overtime pay due employees. Premium overtime pay is defined as any compensation paid to an individual in addition to the employee’s normal rate of pay for hours worked in excess of normal working hours. 2. Funds provided under this Contract may be used to pay the premium portion of overtime only under the following conditions: i. With the prior written approval of System Agency; ii. Temporarily, in the case of an emergency or an occasional operational bottleneck; iii. When employees are performing indirect functions, such as administration, maintenance, or accounting; iv. In performance of tests, laboratory procedures, or similar operations that are continuous in nature and cannot reasonably be interrupted or otherwise completed; or v. When lower overall cost to System Agency will result.

  • Extra Compensation The Board shall pay no fees, other than described above, to the PA/E unless authorized by the Board as follows: A. If the scope of the Project or site is changed, the Board and the PA/E shall negotiate a reasonable fee based upon the probable estimated construction cost in changing the scope of the work and the approximate percentage of the estimated construction cost which was used to negotiate this Agreement if, and, as such may be applicable. B. If the DOE or Board requires the PA/E to make major or costly changes to the Schematic, Preliminary or Construction Document Phase submittals, which changes are not caused by architectural or engineering error or oversight, the PA/E shall be paid to redesign for additional expenses in an amount agreed to by the parties. Under no circumstances will the principals of the PA/E and the principals of his consultants be paid a fee in excess of $125 per hour.

  • Basic Compensation (a) SALARY. Executive will be paid an annual base salary of $115,000.00, subject to adjustment as provided below (the "Salary"), which will be payable in equal periodic installments according to Employer's customary payroll practices, but no less frequently than monthly. The Salary will be reviewed by the Board of Directors not less frequently than annually, and shall be increased on each anniversary of the Effective Date during the term hereof by an amount equal to not less than ten percent (10%) of the prior year's base salary.

  • Salary Compensation As salary compensation for Employee's services hereunder and all the rights granted hereunder by Employee to the Company, the Company shall pay Employee a gross salary of not less than $175,000 during the term of this Agreement. Employee's salary shall be payable in bi-weekly increments in accordance with the Company's payroll practices for salaried employees, upon the condition that Employee fully and faithfully performs Employee's services hereunder in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement. The Company shall deduct and withhold from the compensation payable to Employee hereunder any and all amounts required to be deducted or withheld by the Company under the provisions of any statute, regulation, ordinance, or order and any and all amendments hereinafter enacted requiring the withholding or deducting from compensation payable to employees.

  • Additional Compensation Notwithstanding anything in this Memorandum of Understanding to the contrary when in the judgment of the Board, it becomes necessary or desirable to utilize the services of County employees in capacities other than those for which they are regularly employed, the Board may authorize and, if appropriate, fix an additional rate of compensation for such employees.
