Common use of Work Apparel Clause in Contracts

Work Apparel. 18.01 The uniform allowance for full-time employees shall be one hundred and fifteen dollars ($115.00) and ninety-five dollars ($95.00) for part-time employees. However, employees to be eligible to claim the maximum reimbursement, must have been employed for at least twelve (12) months. During those twelve (12) months, the individual must have worked at least five (5) shifts during each calendar month. Where the individual has not been employed for the entire twelve (12) months, or where the individual did not work at least five (5) shifts in a given calendar month, the amount of the reimbursement shall be prorated. Receipts are to be dated and submitted for the current calendar year. Kitchen staff shall be provided with aprons, free of charge, if such aprons must be worn during work.
