While Drawing Workplace Safety and Insurance Benefits. 21:12 An employee who is prevented from performing his/her regular work with the Employer as a result of an occupational accident that is recognized by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board as compensable within the meaning of the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act shall receive from the Employer the difference between the amount paid by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board and the employee’s regular salary from the first day of the said accident. Payment from the Employer shall not exceed a term of fifteen (15) consecutive weeks for each accident compensable by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board.
