What is a Read and Publish agreement?. Read and Publish agreements allow papers with a Goldsmiths corresponding author, published with certain publishers, to be made Gold Open Access. The costs of publishing Open Access, through the payment of an Article Processing Charge (APC), are included as part of Goldsmiths subscription agreement with a publisher: there is no additional Open Access cost when a paper is published.* * Some deals may exclude specific journals from the payment exemption. Please see below the deal details for each publisher. Read and Publish deals are a way for publishers to transition their subscription journals to full Open Access. The long-term aim is to shift the focus of academic publishing from the subscription model to making Open Access the default.   • Acknowledgement and Publicity 1. The description “The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society” shall precede Grantee’s title or position in all relevant publications issued by the Sponsoring Institution during the period of this Grant. All news about the Grantee's research released by the Sponsoring Institution shall indicate that such research is being funded by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society as follows: “Supported by an Award from The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.” Presentations or posters at major meetings must include the LLS logo in addition to this statement.   • PUBLICATION AND PUBLICITY The CONSULTANT agrees that it shall not for any reason whatsoever communicate to any third party in any manner whatsoever concerning any of its CONTRACT work product, its conduct under the CONTRACT, the results or data gathered or processed under this CONTRACT, which includes, but is not limited to, reports, computer information and access, drawings, studies, notes, maps and other data prepared by and for the CONSULTANT under the terms of this CONTRACT, without prior written approval from the COMMISSION, unless such release or disclosure is required by judicial proceeding. Customer and Google will work together on an announcement of Customer being a Google customer, which will take place on a mutually agreed upon date within 6 months of the Effective Date. Additionally, with prior written consent, the parties may engage in joint marketing activities such as customer testimonials, announcements, press engagements, public speaking events, and analyst interviews. A party may revoke the other party’s right to use its Brand Features with 30 days’ written notice. Any use of a party’s Brand Features will inure to the benefit of the party holding Intellectual Property Rights to those Brand Features.

  • ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND PUBLICITY 7.1 The Recipient shall acknowledge the Grant in its annual report and accounts, including an acknowledgement of the Funder as the source of the Grant.

  • DELIVERY AND PUBLISHING 4.1. Xxxxxxx Science offers publishing via a variety of methods. The parties agree that, at a minimum, and subject to the terms of this Agreement, the Work shall be published in the subscription journal specified, in Schedule 3: Publishing. Additionally, if so specified in the space provided in Schedule 3: Publishing in respect of “Open Access Plus”, and subject to the commercial terms specified therein and the other terms of this Agreement, the Work shall be made available, by Xxxxxxx Science, on an open access basis under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License (CC- BY 4.0), a copy of which is available at: xxxxx://xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx/licenses/by/4.0/legalcode .

  • Goodwill and Publicity Neither Party shall use any name, trade name, service xxxx or trademark of the other Party in any promotional or advertising material without the prior written consent of such other Party. The Parties shall coordinate and cooperate with each other when making public announcements related to the execution and existence of this Agreement, and each Party shall have the right to promptly review, comment upon and approve any publicity materials, press releases or other public statements by the other Party that refer to, or that describe any aspect of, this Agreement. Neither Party shall make any press release or public announcement of the specific terms of this Agreement (except for filings or other statements or releases as may be required by applicable law) without the specific prior written consent of the other Party. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, all public statements must accurately reflect the rights and obligations of the Parties under this Agreement, including the ownership of Environmental Attributes and Environmental Incentives and any related reporting rights.
