Common use of Wellness Plan Clause in Contracts

Wellness Plan. WCB agrees to fund a Union Administered Wellness Plan at the rate of 1.6% of regular employee gross salary. The Union will provide a qualified statement annually to the Employer by March 31 of each year, with a non qualified statement by December 31 of the final year of the collective agreement. Upon request from the Employer the Union will provide information as to the nature of plans or programs these funds are allocated to. The WCB will not be responsible for any cost overruns which may occur in the allocation of funds. The Employer and the employees will continue to participate in and contribute at the rate of 7.25% each to the Public Employees Pension Plan (PEPP). Effective January 1, 2022 the Employer and the employees will contribute at the rate of 7.75% each to the Public Employees Pension Plan.
