Weeds. Weeds must be kept under control throughout the year, including the winter season. Weeds spread easily between plots, and other gardeners are affected if weeds are not controlled. Any weed control cloth used must be biodegradable or must be removed from the garden during the growing season. Mulching and cover crops are highly recommended.
