Webkit Browsers Clause Samples

The 'Webkit Browsers' clause defines how a contract or policy applies specifically to web browsers that use the Webkit rendering engine, such as Safari and some versions of Chrome. This clause may outline compatibility requirements, performance standards, or support obligations for features when accessed through Webkit-based browsers. Webkit Browsers. To the extent that Customer (or any affiliated party) specifies installation requirements, installs, or makes available web browsers for the Customer Network or Phone Devices, then all such web browsers shall (a) be based on the open source web browser engine known as ‘Webkit’, (b) be installed with support for “Google Gears” if Technically Feasible, and (c) include a default capability for the user to utilize Google’s search services through a toolbar functionality or similar user interface as mutually agreed by Customer and Google.
