Watch Differential. Members who work a watch one-half (1/2) or more which falls between 16:00 and 24:00 shall receive a watch differential of one dollar ten cents ($1.10) per hour. Members who work a watch one half (1/2) or more which follows between 24:00 and 08:00 hours shall receive a watch differential of one dollar twenty cents ($1.20) per hour. A member shall be eligible for watch differential for regularly scheduled hours worked on statutory holidays.

A member shall be eligible for watch differential for regularly scheduled hours worked on statutory holidays. 6.03.02 A member required to work a watch a major portion of which falls between 16:00 hours and 24:00 hours on Christmas Eve and/or New Year's Eve shall receive two and one-half (2½) times the regular hourly rate of pay assigned their rank for said watch, however, a member may, at the discretion of the Chief of Police, be excused from such duty without loss of regular pay. Duty Officers will have the option of banking the dollar value of hours worked on either Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve.
Watch Differential. Officers working the 3 to 11 watch on a regular basis will receive thirty (30) cents per hour on top of their normal wage for all hours worked from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Officers working the 11 to 7 watch on a regular basis will receive forty-five (45) cents per hour on top of the normal wage for hours worked from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Officers working overtime will continue to receive watch differential at the same rate as their normal duty hours.

  • Shift Differential The shift differential for employees working on assigned shifts which begin before 6:00 A.M. or which end at or after 7:00 P.M. shall be sixty-five cents ($0.65) per hour for all hours worked on that shift. Such shift differential shall be in addition to the employee's regular rate of pay and shall be included in all payroll calculations, but shall not apply during periods of paid leave. Employees working the regular day schedule who are required to work overtime or who are called back to work for special projects shall not be eligible for the shift differential.

  • Differential Differential is a salary allowance in addition to the basic rate or schedule based upon additional skills, responsibilities, hours of employment, or distasteful or hazardous work.

  • Weekend Differential Employees assigned to State institutions other than Maine State Prison shall be eligible for a weekend differential of fifty cents ($.50) per hour to the base for shifts beginning between 10:00 p.m. Friday and 9:59 p.m.
