Watch Commander Sample Clauses
Watch Commander. The employer may assign watch commander duties to a sergeant who has received watch commander training. When a sergeant is assigned watch commander duties, they shall be compensated at the hourly rate of a first-step lieutenant for time worked as a watch commander.
Watch Commander. In the absence of a sergeant, the Corporal will serve as the shift supervisor, except if they are actively training as an FTO, another qualified officer on the shift may serve as shift supervisor. If two or more Corporals are working the same shift, the most senior Corporal will generally serve as the shift supervisor. However, this may be overridden by a sergeant or other higher-ranking supervisor.
Watch Commander. Senior Transit Security Officers assigned the duties of Watch Commander shall receive five percent (5%) in addition to any other compensation under any other provision of the collective bargaining agreement while performing the duties of Watch Commander.
