Common use of Washing Time Clause in Contracts

Washing Time. (a) Employees shall be allowed five minutes without deduction of pay for washing prior to the mid day or mid-shift meal break and prior to finishing time daily. (b) Employees whose work is of such a nature (as agreed upon by the employee and his or her immediate supervisor) as necessitates the employee having a shower prior to leaving the employer's site shall have up to fifteen minutes at the end of each day or shift without deduction of pay for showering.
