Common use of Wage Reduction Clause in Contracts

Wage Reduction. In order to participate in the Pension Trust all bargaining 12 unit employees who are in classifications covered under Addendums A, B, C, and E shall have their 13 wage rate reduced by the amount of the County’s contribution on the employee’s behalf pursuant to 14 Section 14.4.1. The parties agree and understand that this contribution shall not be reported as part of 15 the employees’ wage to the State Department of Retirement Systems or the Internal Revenue Service, 16 nor shall this contribution be part of the employees’ wage for computation of overtime or any salary- 17 based premium pay. 18 14.5 Workers’ Compensation
