Wage Rates for New Classifications. 27.5.1 When any classification not listed in Schedule A is established, or when an existing classification is substantially revised, the City will set a wage range for the classification which is reasonably related to wage ranges for comparable positions in comparable labor market areas for the classification and to wage ranges for existing classifications in Schedule A.

Wage Rates for New Classifications. When a new classification is established by the Macomb County Board of Commissioners that is to be placed in the bargaining unit, the Employer shall place the new classification in the Wage Schedule that is found in Appendix A of this Agreement. If the Union does not agree with the Wage Schedule that was assigned by the Employer, the Union may submit the assignment of the Wage Schedule to the Grievance Procedure at the Third Step.
