VOLUNTEERS AND STUDENT WORKERS. The Employer will utilize volunteers and student workers only to the extent they supplement and do not supplant bargaining unit employees. Volunteers and student workers will not supervise bargaining unit employees. A volunteer is a person who donates labor to another by their own free choice. Generally, the volunteer doesn’t receive anything of value in exchange for the service—not money, trade of products or services, or anything else of monetary value.
