Voluntary Regular Part time Benefits. Process for Payment The Employer agrees to provide part-time employees with the option of voluntary participation in any and all of the group health and welfare benefit programs set out in Article 17. It is understood and agreed that the part-time employees who participate will assume the employer and employee monthly costs of premiums. Any part-time employee who wishes to participate will provide payment of the benefits either through post-dated cheques provided on a yearly basis or through a preauthorised withdrawal process on the first of each and every month. The Employer will notify the Union and part-time employees of the benefit costs in January of each year, and each time the benefit costs are changed.
