Common use of Virtual Attendance Clause in Contracts

Virtual Attendance. If an employee is required to work outside their regularly scheduled work hours to virtually or remotely perform any official duties including but not limited to meetings, training and court related activities the member will be compensated as if they had personally appeared or attended at one‐half the minimum premium identified in this Agreement. This provision does not apply to instances in which the assigned work is contiguous with the beginning or end of the employees’ regular scheduled shift.
