Van Driver Clause Samples

The 'Van Driver' clause defines the requirements and responsibilities for individuals authorized to operate a van under the agreement. Typically, this clause specifies necessary qualifications such as possessing a valid driver's license, meeting age requirements, and possibly maintaining a clean driving record. It may also outline the scope of permitted use, such as transporting goods or passengers, and set forth any restrictions or obligations related to vehicle operation. Van Driver. When the District has a need to transport students beyond the District boundaries and outside El Dorado County, the District may employee a van driver to drive a District van. This van driver may also transport students within the district boundaries when the students have special needs or are identified as homeless and have been identified as unable to ride the regular school bus (i.e. due to behavior that causes expulsion from the bus). The van driver must obtain a Class C California Driver License. The van driver will not be included in the bidding or routes.

During the school year, plus one week before the start of the student school year and one week after the student school year, the Van Driver shall work eight (8) hours per day for the Food Service Department and shall report to the High School.
