Common use of Valid License Clause in Contracts

Valid License. Teachers are responsible for maintaining a valid Minnesota Teacher’s License, or, in the case of Career Technical Instructors, a valid career technical instructor’s credential, on file with the Appointing Authority. If this provision is not met, the teacher’s salary will be reduced to the comparable step in salary lane 1A or 1V, whichever is applicable, and such salary will be paid until such time as verification of licensure or credentialing is received.
