Valid Licence. A driver who loses his or her licence will have their employment terminated. As retention of a valid licence is a core requirement of the position, loss of licence will result in dismissal without warning. The company will have the right, at its discretion, to stand down without pay an employee who through loss of licence or other similar cause is unable to perform their normal duties as a driver. During such a stand down period, the employee may avail him or herself of any unused annual or long service leave. Drivers may be required to produce proof of licence validity on request, and such a request may be made at any time.
