VACATIONS
Section 1. Eligibility. An employee shall be eligible to take accrued vacation leave with pay after one (1) full year of continuous service. Vacation leave shall accrue on a monthly basis. During an employee’s first year of employment, the employee will accrue vacation at the rate of 80 hours of vacation per year, accrued through equal monthly accruals. Following the completion of the first full year of employment the annual vacation accrual will increase by 6 hours per every full year of continuous service completed by the employee with the City of Ashland up to a maximum annual vacation accrual cap of 184 hours.
VACATIONS
Section 1. Eligibility. 1. Employees are entitled to vacation based on years of continuous service on their anniversary date of employment as follows: 1 Year 80 Hours 5 Years 120 Hours 10 Years 160 Hours 22 Years 200 Hours 30 Years 240 Hours
2. The vacation period shall be on a yearly basis from January First through December Thirty-First. The following procedure is used in determining vacation due to new hires during the current vacation year.
a) If an employee is hired during the first quarter of the vacation year (January 1 through March 31), he will be entitled to eighty (80) hours vacation during the following vacation year. Employee will also be entitled to 32 hours in the first year.
b) If an employee is hired during the second vacation quarter (April 1 through June 30), he will be entitled to eighty (80) hours vacation during the following vacation year. Employee will also be entitled to 24 hours in the first year.

All full-time employees of the Village who have been employed for at least one (1) full year from their anniversary date shall become eligible for vacation as indicated by the following table: Having completed 1 year 2 weeks - 80 hours 10 days Having completed 5 years 3 weeks - 120 hours 15 days Having completed 10 years 4 weeks - 160 hours 20 days Having completed 15 years 5 weeks - 200 hours 25 days Section 2. Probationary employees will accrue benefits for later use pending the successful completion of the probationary period.

Section 1. Eligibility. Eleven (11) and twelve (12) month employees are entitled to paid vacation, as provided in Section 2. Ten
