Common use of Utility Operator Clause in Contracts

Utility Operator. The following shall apply to a Utility Operator I: A. A Utility Operator I position will be paid at B21PU1 until such time the employee has obtained one Level I certification in any of the four disciplines (wastewater collection, wastewater treatment, water distribution, water treatment) and a State of Alaska Class B CDL, at which time the employee shall obtain a one-step increase.

Utility Operator. The following shall apply to a Utility Operator I: A. A Utility Operator I position will be paid at B21PU1 Grade 6 until such time the employee has obtained one Level I certification in any of the four disciplines (wastewater collection, wastewater treatment, water distribution, water treatment) and a State of Alaska Class B CDL. Upon obtaining the Alaska Class B CDL and notification from AKDEC that an employee has obtained Level I certification in one of the four disciplines, at which time the employee shall obtain be placed on the P-Op1 Premium Pay Grade at a one-step increaserate that is at least a 3 percent increase in pay.
